CS 101: Building a Search Engine (FREE)

After some of Stanford’s faculty members offered a few online free course offerings recently (not accredited by Stanford, but you got an unofficial certificate by the instructors), a couple of those instructors have launched a new company. Udacity is a portal of the new venture. Still very new and their business model is still being developed as they are likely to be a for-profit venture.

CS 101: BUILDING A SEARCH ENGINE
Description: This class will give you an introduction to computing. In seven weeks, you will build your own search engine complete with a web crawler and way of ranking popular pages. You will understand some of the key concepts in computer science, and learn how to write your own computer programs. No previous background in programming is expected.

CS 373: PROGRAMMING A ROBOTIC CAR
This class, taught by one of the foremost experts in AI, will teach you basic methods in Artificial Intelligence, including: probabilistic inference, computer vision, machine learning, and planning, all with a focus on robotics. Extensive programming examples and assignments will apply these methods in the context of building self-driving cars. You will get a chance to visit, via video, the leading research labs in the field, and meet the scientists and engineers who are building self-driving cars at Stanford and Google.
Prerequisites: The instructor will assume solid knowledge of programming, all programming will be in Python. Knowledge of probability and linear algebra will be helpful.

Pop Quiz on American Justice!

What should be the punishment for a person(s) who killed numerous innocent women & children? Specifically, 24 innocents killed including 10 women & children killed at point blank range. Shot in the head.

What should be the punishment?

a) Death Penalty

b) Life Imprisonment

c) Anything remotely approaching any semblance of an attempt at justice

d) A possible MAXIMUM sentence of three months of confinement, forfeiture of two-thirds of his pay for three months and a reduction in rank for the LEADER. EXONERATION for all others.

If you picked a, b or c, you failed. d) is the right answer. Ok, it was a trick question. All the dead were Iraqis, so they don’t matter. They were lesser human beings. Was this verdict juctice? No. My bad, typo. Was this verdict American justice? Oh, yes! Salute the troops, lets start the parade. The righteous and brave american warriors have saved the world (by executing babies, women & men). All hail USA.

And this is the remarkable american justice in “a case” that came to light in some of the media. The thousands others who have been massacred in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan & all over the world, they have been spared this shining beacon of American justice.

US marine pleads guilty to Haditha killings

Update Edit: US marine to serve no time over Iraq killings

A US marine accused over the killing of 24 Iraqi civilians in the city of Haditha was demoted to the rank of private but will serve no time behind bars, a military spokesman has said.

Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, the last squad member to face justice after all the others were cleared, was sentenced to 90 days confinement but he will not serve it for procedural reasons, the spokesman said.

“the last squad member to face justice”. Hmm, is that what we call this farce? Justice. Seriously? USA, USA. Salute the troops. Shooting innocent people including point blank executions of children & women nets only 1 person a DEMOTION in rank while all others walk scot free. Justice? No. ‘American’ Justice? You betcha. israeli terrorists (aka Mossad) active in Pakistan

Mossad is openly operating in Pakistan in funding and supporting Jundallah in Balochistan, Pakistan. Jundallah has been involved in various terrorist activities and with israeli and US (intensified under Cheney) backing has been particularly targeting Iran.

Mossad ‘posed as CIA to recruit fighters’

Mossad and other israeli setups have shown that they have neither morals nor any respect for international law. Bombings, assassinations and all sorts of terrorist activities are normal. Whenever anyone talks of israeli and indian RAW involvement in terrorist activities across Pakistan, they are dismissed as conspiracy theorists. But, seriously does anyone expect that these murderers are only funding Jundallah and not other terrorist groups? Funds, weapons and all sort of support flow from israel, india & USA to all sorts of shady and terrorist groups. Ironically, it is mostly these 3 countries who claim to be the biggest victims of foreign terrorism. Maybe if they looked in the mirror, they would see the blood of innocents on their own hands.

Nuclear scientist killed in Tehran car blast

So, mossad and USA has full leeway to kill people by blowing up their cars. This terrorist cabal can launch stuxnet, but if some obscure hacker hacks israeli credit cards, oh that is “terrorism”. US & israel can kill with impunity, but USA foams at its mouth over THAT plot by the iranian cars dealer. OH wait, that turned out to be false and fell spectacularly on USA’s own face. Iran has no right to nuclear technology and yet on the other hand, you have USA which has actually killed people by the use of its nuclear weapons; whereas israel also possesses nukes, but not a word by its slave USA and their cronies about how the possession of such weapons by an illegal terrorist entity (aka the glorious israel) is a threat to humanity. The same zionist entity which is committing a genocide of Palestinians. So, USA & israel have a RIGHT to commit cyber-terrorism, assassinations and all sorts of foul deeds all over the world (all in the name of national security), but any other country, individual or group which might take a stand against them – oh that is an absolute NO-NO. A threat to world peace.
